Recruitment is an exciting time for Alpha Xi Delta at the University of New Hampshire, and we are so proud to welcome potential new members each year through a meaningful and fun process. Our chapter participates in formal recruitment every fall, which gives potential new members the opportunity to meet sisters, learn about our values, and experience what makes Alpha Xi Delta a true home away from home.Formal recruitment begins with an open house round, followed by two sisterhood rounds where conversations deepen and connections grow. The process then highlights our commitment to service through a philanthropy round before concluding with preference, a meaningful and memorable round that celebrates the bonds of sisterhood. The week culminates in Bid Day — a joyful celebration where we welcome our newest members into the Alpha Xi Delta family.We strongly encourage participation in formal recruitment, as it is an incredibly rewarding experience filled with connection, confidence, and fun. Our hope is that potential new members leave recruitment feeling supported, inspired, and excited — and ultimately fall in love with our chapter just as we did.In some years, Alpha Xi Delta also offers spring Continuous Open Bidding (COB). Spring recruitment is a more informal process that allows potential new members to connect with our sisters in a relaxed setting while learning more about our chapter on a personal level.No matter the recruitment path, Alpha Xi Delta is committed to creating a welcoming, genuine experience and finding women who align with our values of truth, friendship, and justice.
